Peaches anyone?

So help me, there are things that are so hilarious at times, while when you really start pondering the deep machinations of the mind, one becomes very angry. 

I received an email from my cousin  Diane today.  The one that is aunt to my Joey's mom.  The one that orchestrated Joey coming to stay with me because she didn't want to invest herself in him (yes, I know this for truth because she told me so)  The one who was so encouraging me to file for the child support, until I actually did so.  The one who at various times in the last 8 months has threatened  to help have him taken away from me.  Because the adoption isn't going through as fast as we had all hoped. 

Anyway, I have now been informed that Joey's Grandma Jeanene (we use first names and Joey has about 8 sets of grandparents due to our family and his biological one) will be visiting in Iowa, and while I can't stay with her (she's mad at me) I should be able to arrange to stay with her parents, (my aunt and uncle) who are Joey's great grandparents.  While normally this wouldn't be a hard thing, she informed my mother 2 weeks ago during a phone call that everyone there wanted nothing to do with us, and now she wants me to invite myself to someone else's home?  And my aunt and uncle will have company at the time, and I have 4 kids, HMMMMMMM.  She reminded me that I promised that I would raise Joey to know his family (well duh!  they are my family too)  and if I didn't bring him to Iowa that specific weekend, it would be bad new for me.  Apparently Jeanene didn't tell her sister Diane, that she and I have been emailing regularly for almost the whole time Joey has lived with me (12 days short of 2 years) and that I email her pictures often, and that Jeanene and I spoke on the phone on Sunday.  And apparently Diane has no idea that Jeanene talked to Joey on the phone on Sunday and that we plan for that to happen a couple times every month so that they can start building a relationship, even though she lives on the west coast, and we are in Illinios, and why should Diane know these things?  She shouldn't, it really isn't any of her business. 

Well, why is Diane so upset???  Well I have a theory......

Diane loaned Tracey (Joeys mom)  several hundred dollars over the last 2 years, it might even be a couple thousand for all I know.  And last tax return time, the federal student loan department garnished Tracey's tax return for student loan payment defaults, there fore, Tracey couldn't repay the loan her aunt gave her.  Now, this year,  Tracey owes child support, and that will get garnished from her tax return leaving her less to repay her aunt.  So now you see, this is ALL MY FAULT for filing for child support.  Which if ya'll have been reading here awhile you may remember that I didn't do until I found out that Tracey was collecting child support from the father for a child she hadn't cared for in over 1 year. 

In the 2 years that Joey has lived with us, she has come to our home once, and that wasn't to see him, it was because her aunt brought her to pick up her other two kids that had been left with us for 4 months.  We have taken him to Iowa 4 times in the past 2 years and the first time, she left for WA the night before we arrived. (she took the other 2 kids to stay with their paternal grandfather whom they hadn't seen for over 2 years, and left them for 4 months)  The other times we've been in Iowa for 3-4 days at a time, she has spared barely 30 minutes each time to see him.
